Martin Doff-Sotta
Bio
I obtained a PhD in Control Engineering from the University of Oxford in 2023. Following my doctoral studies, I was awarded the EPSRC Doctoral Prize, targeting the top 10% of early-career researchers in STEM across the UK. I then pursued further research at the University of Oxford as a Postdoctoral Pathway Research Fellow and Senior Research Associate. In 2025, I was awarded the Eric and Wendy Schmidt AI in Science Fellowship to conduct research at the intersection of control theory and artificial intelligence.
Research
My research focuses on combining the predictive capabilities of artificial intelligence with the safety guarantees of control systems, with applications to urban air mobility, renewable energy, and sustainable aviation.
